Our performance at the Chelsea "Sounds & Sights" Summer Festival this month was a No-Show Rain-Out! So sorry for all those of you who made the trek! (Thankfully we were on contract, so we didn't go home empty handed!)

2010 West Branch Children's Film Festival: "Best Music Video Award"

Dear Fanz,

Yes, it's true -- another one. Our new music video "I'm GLAD at You"! won Best Music Award at the 2010 West Branch Children's Film Festival. What more can we say? I'll tell you what more we can say. A huge special thanks to our new band mate, OSO the Drumming Bear!

SUMMER FESTIVAL SHOWS, Ahoy!

Our shows this month at FENTON CONCERTS IN THE PARK and the MAYFLY MUSIC FESTIVAL was a big blow out blast! Thank you all for coming out to see & hear us, buying our CD's, and having fun with our "experience"! It was so good to have all you kids up there on the steps of the Gazebo with us at the show in FENTON, and to those who made it for our MAYFLY performance as well! Hope to see you all again soon and don't forget to write!

"Enchanted" GREEN TREE FORT no more...

Yes, sad but true. Having broadcast a year and a half over cable TV network, inside it's 2nd season, Mister Laurence's "Enchanted Green Tree Fort has come to a halt. An overly ambitious show given the limits of a shoe string budget and an all volunteer crew has left the production experience exhausted. Episodes 4 and 5 are now in final edit and will be scheduled for air play early this summer. Showcase music videos are I'M GLAD AT YOU - featuring OSO the Drumming Bear, and THE SEED IN THE GROUND, featuring Mister Laurence's granddaughter, Alexis Doll. Thanks to all who checked out our kids variety shows as they were scheduled over the past 18 months. They will surely be in CTN's re-run rotation for years to come. Yahoo!

Our NEW band mate, OSO, the Drumming Bear!

Can you believe it? Neither can we! Nevertheless, we can clearly see him here in the practice room, drumming like mad, learning the back beat to all our songs! We'll be showcasing him in our next kids music video I'M GLAD AT YOU! Plans are then to take Oso on the road late summer, 2010! Stay tuned, kids! This little guy is amazing!

GLADNESS & GRAPES!

A huge belated thanks to those of you Moms and Dads and Kids who were able to make our music video shoot, "I'M GLAD AT YOU"! You did a super fab job dancing up a storm! Bravo! Encore! THE MISTER LAURENCE EXPERIENCE will finish their performance part of the production the moment they can reserve studio time. CTN is a busy, busy place I'll tell you what! Probably early April around the same time we shoot Episode 4 & 5 of MISTER LAURENCE'S "Enchanted" GREEN TREE FORT! Meanwhile, Mister Laurence has been keeping way super busy writing his first Musical ever! (In case you didn't know what a Musical is, a Musical is like a theatrical play set to music and song.) Mister Laurence is calling his musical GROWING GRAPES FOR THE FUTURE! and plans to video tape it later this year. ( I won't give it away, but it has something to do with raisins... )

Here-Ye Here-Ye! THE MISTER LAURENCE EXPERIENCE is going into A2CTN studio to shoot their next music video, I'M GLAD AT YOU. (This will be a "mock live rock concert" with plenty of vigor & vim!) Those parents with kids interested in being involved please give us a shout A.S.A.P. Compensation will be a complimentary DVD of the finished product, as well as special little surprises for the kids at the end of the evening. The recording session takes place THIS Thursday, February 11th, at 7:45pm. Rock Out!

A NEW New Year!

Here's hoping everyone's happy NEW New Year is getting off to a good start! We know ours is. The 3rd Episode of MISTER LAURENCE'S "Enchanted" GREEN TREE FORT has aired and so has FROM THE SEED IN THE GROUND -- a music video featuring Mister Laurence's grand-daughter (grand-daughter?), Alexis Doll. Immediate plans are to get back into the TV station studio and shoot our next show. Why not? Can't wait! The "Enchanted" GREEN TREE FORT Episode 3

Hey Fanz! This week we shot the 3rd episode to our kid's community television show. The two main themes for this show are 8-legged crfeatures and The 3rd Dimension! Who would have thunk? What's more, Mister Laurence is managing to streamline his post-editing time. This comes as a great relief. It will enable the show to be finished and set for broadcast before the year's end. Stay tuned!
